RECOLETA
Famous sights in this ritzy neighborhood include Cementerio de la Recoleta, where Evita’s grave can be visited; Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes; and the Centro Cultural Recoleta.

RETIRO – CONGRESO
These traditional neighborhoods house historical sights such as Casa Rosada; the Congreso or Parliament; and Avenida de Mayo with is famous Café Tortoni.

LA BOCA
Famous sights in this bohemian neighborhood include Caminito, a famous street lined with brightly painted houses, tango dancers, and local artists who sell their work; the Quinquela Martin Museum, a tribute to La Boca’s most prolific artist; and, of course, La Bombonera, the Soccer Stadium of Boca Juniors.

PUERTO MADERO
This one-time harbor is now the city’s most vibrant neighborhood, filled with restaurants, shops, and fine architecture. See the Puente de la Mujer by architect Santiago Calatrava and enjoy the recently-inaugurated Amalia Lacroze de Fortabat Museum.

PALERMO
This recently-renovated neighborhood features designer shops and restaurants in a relaxed atmosphere. Nearby, the MALBA museum displays works by Latin American artists.

SAN TELMO
This traditional neighborhood is rich in antiques shops. On Sundays, a fair gathers in the main square. Traditional cuisine is first-rate here.
