Submission Guidelines:
Papers or symposia may be submitted in English, Spanish or Portuguese. Submissions are performed electronically on this page. Deadline for all submissions is May 7th, 2009. The “Rule of Three” of the Academy of Management applies: no participant may submit more than 3 papers/symposia to the conference.

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES FOR PAPERS

The recommended length for papers is 40 pages of text or less, including tables, appendices and references. Papers will be selected for presentation by a double blind review process. Please use Times New Roman 12-pitch font, double-line spacing.

To submit a paper:

  1. Select the appropriate track.
  2. Provide the required identification information (Title of paper, Name of author(s), Academic affiliation(s), Address (surface mail), Telephone and E-mail address).
  3. In the paper text screen, copy the paper (title, abstract, three keywords, text, figures, graphs, tables and references). The entire text must be contained in one single document. Please be sure that all pages are numbered. Do not include any author identifying information, including acknowledgements, in the text.
  4. Indicate whether the paper results from a doctoral dissertation (not required).
  5. There can be no changes in titles, abstracts or authorship after the submission.
  6. Before clicking the submit button, please review the information submitted. After submission, there will be no changes.

 

Upon your submission, you will receive an automatic email with your submission number confirming that your paper was received. If you do not receive this email, please contact us: iam-buenosaires@iae.edu.ar.

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES FOR SYMPOSIA

You may submit panel symposia or presenter symposia. In Panel Symposia the purpose is to promote an interactive discussion engaging a group of panelists. There will be no titles associated with the panelists’ participation. Presenter Symposia involve titles associated with each presentation. Co-authors will be listed in the program.

To submit a symposium:

Symposium proposals are not blind reviewed. In the symposium text screen, include:

  1. Title of symposium
  2. Complete formal name and contact information for the chair as well as all participants and discussants
  3. List of tracks (with a maximum of two) to which the symposium is submitted
  4. Three keywords identifying the major subject of the symposium
  5. An abstract of the symposium in no more than 200 words
  6. A 3-5 page overview statement of the symposium
  7. A 2-5 page synopsis of each presentation
  8. A statement from the symposium organizer declaring: “I have received signed statements from all intended participants agreeing to participate in the symposium”.
  9. There can be no changes in titles, abstracts or authorship after the submission.
  10. Before clicking the submit button, please review the information submitted. After submission, there will be no changes.
