Management in the New Millennium: Iberoamerica looks at the future

The Iberoamercian Academy of Mangement, an affiliate of the Academy of Management, invited all academy members to attend its second international conference, which was being held from December 10-12, 2001 at Instituto Technológico Autónomo de Mexico in Mexico City, Mexico. The program chair was Professor Carlos Alcerreca. The overall theme of this Second International Conference was “Management in the New Millennium: Iberoamerica looks at the future”. The program consisted of keynote speeches, competitive papers, symposia and interactive poster sessions selected by the Program Scientific Committee. Participants included many leading management scholars such as Michael Hitt, Andy Van de Ven, Kathleen Eisenhardt, Don Hambrick, Javier Gimeno, and Mary Ann Von Glinow, among others.
