José Ernesto Amorós is Professor and Doctoral Programs Director at EGADE Business School, Tecnológico de Monterrey, Mexico. Until December 2015 he was a Professor and  Executive Director of the Entrepreneurship Institute at Universidad del Desarrollo, Chile.   He’s visiting professor at several Latin American and European universities. He holds a PhD in Management Sciences from ESADE Business School, Spain. He has a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and MSc in Marketing from Tecnológico de Monterrey. Member of several academic organizations including member of the Board of the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor, GEM, project and VP of Iberoamerican Academy of Management. His research interests are entrepreneurship and competitiveness, entrepreneurship and regional development, and corporate entrepreneurship. Dr. Amorós has written more than 50 academic articles which have been published in major international journals. He is also co-author of more than 30 monographs on entrepreneurial dynamics, some in cooperation with key international institutions.
