Call for Papers: Special Issue on Hispanic Voices in Organizations
Leading the Way: Hispanic Voices Continue to Transform Organizations
Research in Human Resource Management Peer-Reviewed Series | Emerald Publishing
Guest Editors: Donna Maria Blancero, Elizabeth Muniz, and Julio C. Canedo
The Hispanic workforce plays an increasingly vital role across industries, yet Hispanic employees continue to face unique challenges that hinder career advancement, engagement, and workplace satisfaction. Despite demographic shifts that highlight their growing importance in organizations, many barriers remain—including implicit bias, limited leadership representation, and organizational cultures that fail to fully leverage Hispanic workers’ strengths.
This special issue seeks to address these challenges by inviting research that explores how workplaces can become more inclusive and equitable for Hispanic employees. Scholars are encouraged to submit studies that analyze key factors such as bias in hiring, leadership development, cultural identity, language barriers, mental health, work-life balance, pay equity, and corporate social responsibility initiatives impacting Hispanic communities. The goal of this issue is to highlight actionable solutions that support Hispanic employees and contribute to long-term workplace transformation.
